The Garden Architecture Services are part of our design studio team’s workflow. We believe the design should start the moment we enter the property.

Spending time in the lush flowery garden and intelligently designed outdoor living spaces elevates the mood and spirit and is one of the main staples of well-being. We put as much attention into designing outdoor living spaces and the garden architecture as the main house.

If space allows, we encourage our clients to have a full outdoor living space.  In Long Island and the metro NYC areas, where our architectural projects are predominantly located, people use their gardens for about five to six months a year. Therefore, we ensure that your garden is a lush, picturesque landscape.

The ease of access to the garden from the house encourages the use of the garden more often. Therefore, from the start we design the house and the grade of the outdoor terraces and patios the same level to unify the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

We provide Architectural Design Services for outdoor living areas from drinking your morning coffee, having breakfast, small and larger gathering areas, cooking, dining, entertaining, playing, reading, meditating, yoga and exercising.

We encourage the use of the following features to add to the character of your garden.

1. Architectural Elements: Stone, brick, stucco, or wood walls, gates, pergolas, sculptures, and benches.
2. Water Features: Fountains or shallow basins.
3. Fire Pits and Fireplaces: For warmth during colder months.
4. Seating Areas: Benches, swings, and hammocks.
5. Featured Plants: Strategically placed spring flowers and autumn foliage.
6. Evergreen Hedges: For privacy.
7. Flowery Bushes: Along garden paths.
8. Perennials and Annuals: Blooming from spring to October.
9. Large Planters: With greens and aromatic flowers at entry points.
10. Garden Lighting: Thoughtfully designed for outdoor living areas and the entire garden

If the property is large enough, we integrate outdoor amenities that take up more space, such as pool, pool house, outdoor full kitchen, cut flower and vegetable gardens. We often design a trail to connect the entire property and encourage walking around your home.

We collaborate with talented landscape designers who have an artistic vision for plant selection. For the front yard, when driving into the property and parking cars, we encourage the architectural design of the parking courtyard, which has a prominent and elegant presence. We place many plants and greeneries to help frame the yard and give an elegant curb appeal.
